As part of the Media Literacy Week on November 8, the PJC team gathered the winning hackathon teams under the hospitable roof of the Gyumri Technology Center to present their interesting and innovative projects
A platform for checking images and links․ Head of Public Journalism Club Seda Muradyan and Head of Grant Programs at the U.S. Embassy in Armenia Anastasia Kollivas delivered welcoming speeches at the event.We were also joined by representatives of the Shirak region administration, teachers, young startups, IT specialists, and journalists. Representatives of IT companies and startups participating in the event had the opportunity to test the presented platforms on site and received prizes for identifying technical problems. The event was organized in cooperation with the Gyumri Technology Center within the framework of the Hackathon of Media and Information Literacy Hack2Check program, implemented by the Public Journalism Club and the Armenian office of the General Armenian Charitable Union under a grant from the Office of Public Diplomacy of the U.S. Department of State.
